Regarded by many as South Africa’s top. magician, Mo Magic is on a mission of Spreading Joy & Delight with the art of magic.
His love for magic was sparked at University whilst he was studying towards his honours degree in electronic engineering, at a time when he was questioning his purpose and future.
He spoke to the Universe, asking for a sign, and very soon after discovered the art of magic. This part time hobby grew to a passion whilst he studied, then worked in industry as a Project & Customer manager, as he grew his skills and experience as a performer.
In 2010, he took a leap of faith, resigning from a lucrative career in the automotive industry to focus on his entertainment career. In the last decade, this has evolved by leaps and bounds, and the entertainer extraordinaire has made an impact across the globe.
Starring in his own 13 part prime time TV series & performing on stages internationally, he is also the first magician to have his own streaming special on Showmax (Africa), is regularly featured in various international publications and is the only magician from the African continent to be featured and profiled on the cover of the world’s largest magic magazine.
His special “Mo Magic Live” is currently streaming on Showmax and he has a new segment on The ETV Morning Show each Friday morning called “The Mo Magic Minute”, in which he performs an illusion and shares a positive message during the current pandemic.
Mo also serves as the brand ambassador for Child Welfare Durban and District since 2015.
